A continuous copper pipe structure stretches across the width of the gallery, supporting the tubing of the fountains and suspending the yarns into the dye. The fountains are arranged along the copper spine, the carpet scattered to catch drips of the dyes.

The kolu is a stepped altar, typically set up during the Hindu holiday of Navaratri. The kolu, when used for worship, is draped in cloth, with dolls and idols arranged on the steps. This structure is left bare, and the cloth is woven in a colonial American weaving pattern.

Hair, methyl cellulose
I mixed my hair, which I collected over several years, with glue. I formed it into paper-like sheets. The colors, amber, blue, and pale green, are the color my hair was at the time it was pulled into my comb.
